Board Purpose
Colorado State legislature authorized the creation of a community corrections program of intensive counseling and community treatment including a monitored program of educational, vocational, and social release. The members of this board have the authority to contract for residential and nonresidential services as well as screen referrals for placement.
The board has six total members, two of which are appointed by the City Council. One shall be held by the chief of police or his duly-appointed representative.
